Most lots of 40-60 weight pigs have a
sliding value from the negotiated weight
basis which is calculated on the actual
average weight of the lot plus or minus
30-40 cents pier pound. Some lots of
early weaned pigs are discounted 1 00-
10 00 per head on pigs weighing under
10 pounds.

LAST WEEK 724, LAST YEAR 284.
TREND: Compared to last week,
feeder pigs were not well tested. Slaugh
ter pigs sold 5.00 to as much as 67.00
higher, with 45 lbs and over not well
tested. Demand was very good for
slaughter pigs weighing 27-38 lbs.
Around 14 percent of the supply re
turned to feed. All pigs were weighed
and graded on arrival and sold by the
hundred weight.
