Compared to last week: Feeder steers
and heifers 1.00 to mostly 2.00 higher.
Stocker cattle and calves steady to 2.00
higher. Demand good for all classes.
Last week’s ice storm provided several
inches of much needed moisture to ma
jority of the state. More moisture this
week. Spring wheat pasture prospects
are improved. Many rural communities
are without power due to down lines and
poles. It may be March before power sit
uation is back to normal for much of the
northwest quarter of the state. Quality of

from thin to fleshy. Weigh conditions
gaunt to average. Total of 375 cows and
bulls sold with 55% to packers.
Receipts this week 7100; last week
