Weekly Report (includes lambs sold in
1L , IN., OH., Ml.) Compared to last
week slaughter lambs were steady to
1 00 higher. Slaughter ewes were steady
Demand was moderate to good for a
light supply. Trading was slow to moder
ate Carcass lamb prices were slightly
higher for the week, mostly 50 higher
with the heaviest weights over 85 lbs 1.25
higher. Wool trading was active on the
domestic market. Western cornbelt
native medium lamb wool .25-.30 on a
delivered, greasy basis. Confirmed sales
about 58% slaughter lambs and 42%
slaughter ewes with an additional 600
head of goats.
