CATTLE: Compared to last Thurs
day, slaughter steers opened Monday
steady to firm, to close Tuesday 50
higher Holstein steers steady to 100
higher. Trading was active, with a very
attractive supply on offer Slaughter
heifers traded steady to .50 higher.
Slaughter cows were very active and
prices were 1.00-2.00 higher on the
Boner and Lean cows, with Breaker
cows trading mostly steady. Slaughter
bulls were steady. Supply included 37
percent slaughter steers and 45 percent
cows.

and Prime 2-4 1240-1475 lbs 70.00-71 60,
mostly 70.50-71.60; numerous singles up
to 74 00: 1485-1510 lbs 68.00-7175,
