Sale to be held at the farm 4678 Stony Ridge Road
off State Route 415 between Campbell and
Coopers Plains. From Campbell Expressway Exit
41 off 1-86 (old Rte. 17) take Rt. 333 to Rte. 415,
turn south onto 415, go a short mile and make left
onto Stony Ridge Road, follow 1 mile.
Due to Rex’s health and also having reached
retirement age the family decision has been made
to disperse. The boys have each found good jobs
and the time is correct for liquidation. Note the
sale order: cattle first at 10:00 followed by bam
equipment and produce then machinery.

(10:00): 100 milking age and 30 heifers. The
milking herd consists of 80 Holsteins, 15 Jerseys,
4 Ayrshires, and 1 Brown Swiss; 75 are milking
and 25 are dry. This is a bull bred, year-around
freshening herd of freestall housed and tie stall
milked cows. Big cattle with excellent udders, feet
and legs that can adapt to any housmg/milkmg sit
uation. The herd is currently producing close to 60
lbs. per cow in the tank with 4.2 BF test and a
SCC of 150,000. A wet herd of fancy freestall cat
tle here! The heifers are Holstein and consist of 5
open yearlings. 18 are 6-8 months, 7 are 3 months
old plus any newborn heifers. Heifers are well
grown! Cattle sell first at 10:00 am, reliable truck
