Greetings from the Secretary of Agriculture
Welcome to the 86 th edition of the Pennsylvania Farm Show being hosted by the
Department of Agriculture. The very best of Pennsylvania agriculture is on display at this
year’s extravaganza
Pennsylvania Agriculture has Products for the Planet, and many of these products ate
on display at the Farm Show. To lead agriculture through the 21' 1 century, the Department
of Agriculture has commenced a massive construction project at our Farm Show Complex
The present facility is great The new construction will make it even greater This
commitment is being made so wc can showcase agriculture as our leading industry in
Pennsylvania The men and women of agriculture work very hard to provide society with
an abundance of products that make it possible for us to enjoy the best of times
Our youth get a good start on life at the Farm Show Farmers and agri-business highlight
their legacy of agricultural excellence at the PA Farm Show People from across
Pennsylvania and beyond come to see the best of agriculture in all of its many aspects
From exhibitors to vendors to volunteers to visitors, the PA Farm Show brings everyone
together in a tapestry that reflects all of Pennsylvania And this woven fabric about
Pennsylvania and its agriculture is wholesome and good.
The Farm Show provides an opportunity for all of Pennsylvania to celebrate our great
agricultural heritage. As the Secretary of Agriculture, I am very proud and appreciative
