slaughter steers and heifers not well
tested. Slaughter cows Breakers and
Boners sold steady to firm, with the lean
cows trading 1.00-2.00 higher. Slaughter
bulls Yield Grade 2 were 2.00 higher,
with the Yield Grade 1 not well tested.
Supply included 55 percent cows.

CATTLE: Compared to last Thurs
day, slaughter steers, Holstein steers,
and slaughter heifers sold steady.
Demand was very good for the top qual
ity cattle. Slaughter cows traded very
active and prices were steady to firm on
Breaker and Boner cows, with the lean
trading mostly 2.00 higher. Slaughter
bulls not well tested. Supply included 34
percent slaughter steers and 48 percent
cows.
SLAUGHTER STEERS: High Choice
and Prime 2-4 1225-1460 lbs 67.00-68.85,
with numerous singles up to 72.00.
Choice 2-3 1135-1475 lbs 64.50-67.25:

quality cattle. Holstein steers and
slaughter heifers sold steady on a light
test. Slaughter cows traded very active

Breaker and Boner cows, with the lean
cows trading steady to 1.00 higher.
