WASHINGTON, D.C., Dec. 7 - (USDA-NASS) - Total red meat production
under federal inspection for the week ending Saturday, Dec. 8, was estimated
at 930.8 million lb, according to the USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service
This was 0.7% higher than a week ago and 4.0% higher than a year ago
Cumulative meat production for the year to date was 1.6% lower compared to
the previous year.
