varieties do not have the same
test weight,” says Greene.
“Making a visual evaluation on
the volume or yield doesn’t give
a producer the complete infor
mation about a hybrid or vari
ety. The majority of time, grain
produced using Pioneer seed has
a higher test weight than grain
grown from competitive prod
ucts.”
