Weekly Meat Production Under Federal Inspection
WASHINGTON, D C , Nov. 30 - (USDA-NASS) - Total red meat production
under federal inspection for the week ending Saturday, Dec. 1, was estimated
at 924.5 million lb, according to the USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service.
This was 14.2 higher than a week ago and 2.1% higher than a year ago.
Cumulative meat production for the year to date was 1 8% lower compared to
the previous year.

last market test. Feeder heifers were
mostly 1.00-3.00 higher. Trading was
slow. Demand was light. Confirmed
