In Philadelphia, prices were un
changed to 3 cents lower on mediums
and unchanged on the larger sizes.
Prices paid to producers in New Eng
land were 3 cents lower on medium, 2
cents lower on small, and unchanged on
the balance of sizes. In Boston, prices re
mained unchanged. The market tone
was mixed. Demand was light to mostly
moderate, best into feature activity. Sup
plies were adequate to available for trade
needs. Breaking stock offerings were
fully adequate for the light demand.
Light type hens were fully sufficient for
processing requirements.
