Correspondent MOORESTOWN (Northamp ton Co.) Ken Brubaker, Wo melsdorf, breeder of commercial sheep and coach of the Berks County 4-H judging team, re viewed the entries of the market goat and market sheep shows at the Northampton County 4-H Community Roundup recently. Brubaker selected Amber Buttner as the junior fitter of the market goat portion of the roundup. Buttner went on to be come the champion fitter with senior fitter, Diana Holder, being named the reserve champion fit ter. In the showmanship competi tion, Buttner and Holder switched places with senior Hold er being named champion show man and junior showman Buttn er receiving the reserve showman honors. Buttner was also named the champion fitter and champi on showman of the dairy goat fit ting and showmanship competi tion of the roundup. Reserve champion fitter of the dairy goat show was Jamie Os bom with Derick Stenlake being selected as the reserve champion showman. In the weight classes Buttner’s 80-pound entry from the heavy weight class was selected as the champion market goat. Julie Blackadar’s 62-pound winner of the medium weight class went on to be named reserve champion of the market goat show. In the sheep competition of the roundup, James Ford, the first place winner of the senior fitting competition, went on to be named the champion fitter. Buttner then took reserve fitter honors. Brubaker selected Julie Black adar as his champion showman from the senior division with Diana Holder receiving the re serve champion showman title.
