CATTLE: Compared to last Thurs
day, early sales of slaughter steers sold
steady and closed 2.00 lower on Tuesday,
with light demand. Packer and Kosher
orders were cancelled due to terrorist
attack of the world trade center and
other areas. Holstein steers traded .50 to
1.00 lower. Slaughter heifers not well
tested. Slaughter cows and bulls were
fully steady. Supply included 50 percent
slaughter steers and 38 percent cows.
