Movement of ready-to-cook whole
birds was mostly moderate. Seller offer
ings were in a range of well balanced to
fully adequate. Live supplies were
mostly moderate; weights were in a full
range of light to heavy and trending
lighter at several plants. Processing
schedules were moderate to moderately
heavy. Less than trucklot asking prices
were unchanged at 57 to 71 cents. Trade
sentiment was steady to hilly steady. In
the parts complex, offerings varied by
both item and volume. Breast cuts were
generally held with confidence. Leg
items were irregularly balanced and
wings were usually adequate.

cations. The market tone was about
steady. Demand was light to moderate,
although better where promotions were
a factor. Supplies were adequate to
available at current price levels. Break
ing stock offerings were adequate to
fully adequate for an only moderate
demand. Spent hen availability was fully
adequate for the mostly light and unag
gressive demand.
