In Philadelphia .and Boston, prices
were unchanged to two cents lower on
the larger sizes and unchanged on medi
ums. Prices paid to producers in New
England were two cents lower for extra
large and large, unchanged on the re
mainder of sizes. The market tone was
reported as soft and ranged barely
steady to weak. Demand was light to
moderate, best where features were in
progress. In the Philadelphia vicinity,
large eggs were advertised for 59 cents
per dozen with no restrictions. Supplies
were adequate to available. Breaking
stock offerings were fully adequate to
ample for the light to moderate demand.
Light type hens were fully adequate for
normal processing requirements.

at 56 to 70 cents. Trade sentiment was
mostly steady. In the parts complex, all
items were generally noted as in balance
or adequate for the light to fair and se
lective buying interest
