Albert Henderson grew up on this farm and is now seeing
his grandchildren work on it.
According to Albert’s wife Theresa, everybody helps out,
especially during busy times such as haymaking. That in
cludes son Jack and his wife Kathy, who are responsible for
most of the farm work, son Jeff and wife Debby, and grand
children Rebecca, 19, Brooke, 17, and Richie, 15.

The Hendersons raise alfalfa and clover on the 360-acre
farm and milk about 90 Holsteins. The cows are on a combi
nation grazing/total mixed ration feeding program.
Daughter-in-law Kathy gets much of the credit for the clean
environment on the farmstead. Theresa said, “(She) keeps it
nice and neat.”
