Since 1955, McCullough Hook has hosted about 27,000
children from schools all over Berks County on this well-kept
farm nearWomelsdorf.
At 88, Hook is still involved in the operation which includes
a milking herd of 42 Holsteins on 119 acres. Three grandchil
dren, Deborah Hook, James Hook, and Cindy Shod, also work
