Mostly prices were unchanged on
whole and whites, unchanged to lower
on sugar yolks and lower on salt yolks
when compared to a week earlier. Sup
plies were sufficient. Demand was light
to good Trade sentiment was barely
steady on salt yolks, fully steady on
sugar yolks, and generally steady on bal
ance Liquid and frozen eggs (ingred
ients included) processed under federal
inspection in the Eastern region for the
week ending July 07, 2001 were 11 %
less than the previous week, and 16 %
less than a year ago. Total year to date
change was about 15 % less than last
year.
