Weekly Meat Production Under Federal Inspection WASHINGTON, D.C., July 6 - (USDA-NASS) - Total red meat production under federal inspection for the week ending Saturday, July 7, was estimated at 727.3 million lb, according to the USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service This was 15.7% lower than a week ago and 0.9% lower than a year ago. Cumulative meat production for the year to date was 2.8% lower compared to the previous year.
