Although she did not grow up on a
farm, Shirley has adapted well to what she
calls “never ending work.”
She said, “We grow produce so that
other people have healthy choices, but we
are so busy I find it difficult to find time to
preserve food for our own family.”
She said of their roadside venture, “We
are thankful to the Lord for protection and
the beauty of nature. It’s hard work, but
enjoyable.”
