CATTLE: Compared to last Thurs
day, slaughter steers sold 1.00-1.50
higher, instances 2.00 higher on the
plainer type. Monday’s sale opened on a
positive note and continued through
Tuesday’s attractive offering. A very at
tractive supply of holstein steers traded
1.00-1.50 higher. Slaughter heifers were
not well tested, but a higher undertone
noted. Slaughter cow prices were fully
steady. Slaughter bulls closed 1.00
higher. Supply included 55 percent
slaughter steers and 32 percent cows.
