‘Triangle Series’ Horse Show Results
NEW LONDON (Chester Co.)
A day of beautiful weather
brought a nice turnout of horses
and riders for the first horse
show of the Triangle Series, held
Sunday, April 22, at Grazing
Acres Farm in New London.
One of the new features of this
year’s series is a two-class divi
sion for junior medals (for riders
18 and under) featuring two
jumping classes. The first class
has two-foot six-inch fences. The
second class, a two-foot class, is
jumped without stirrups.
First champion under this for
mat was Bethany Moore, Land
enberg, riding Indian Jane. The
reserve championship in the
western division also went to Be
thany Moore.
Reserve champion in junior
medals was Leanne Buckley,
Atglen, riding Knights Rebel.
This pair also took the reserve
championship of the advanced
short stirrup division.
Other Triangle Series format
changes for the 2001 year include
moving the western division to
the first division of the day and
increasing the height of the low
hunter fences to two-foot nine
inches for horses and two-foot
three-inches for ponies.
The first low hunter champion
under the higher fences was One
Last Trick, ridden by Taylor
Marcus, West Grove. Reserve

A second family win occurred
during the day when Champion
Pleasure Pony was awarded to
Midnight Quest, ridden by Alex
andra Brunovszky, West Chest
er, and reserve champion went to
Without a Doubt, ridden by her
sister Lauren Brunovszky. Alex
andra Brunovszky was the top
money winner for the day, fol
lowed closely by Devon Steen.
Pleasure and Hunter Classes
offer cash prizes.
Championship of the western
division went to Eagles First Luv,
shown by Lauren DiNenno, West
Grove. This pair also took the
championship of the pleasure
horse division, which was the
largest division at this show.
Four farms are currently par
ticipating in the Triangle Series.

In the mini mini division (for
riders aged 8 and under) the

under, the champion was Brian

For advanced short stirrup
(riders 12 and Under) the cham

Midnight. Sister Lindsey Jordan,

championship of the open equi
tation division (for riders 13 and
Up), with the reserve champion
ship going to Sara Schaefer, New
London, riding Bally Vae Bay.
