Weekly Meat Production Under Federal Inspection
WASHINGTON, DC, Apr 27 - (USDA) - Total red meat production
under federal inspection for the week ending April 28. 2001, was estimated at
845 3 million lb according to the USDA's Marketing Service This was 3 2%
higher than a week ago and 03% lower than a year ago Cumulative meat pro
duction for the year to date was 3 8% lower compared to the pievious year
