CATTLE: Compared to last Thurs
day, slaughter steers High Choice and
Prime sold 1.00-1.50 higher, with aver
age Choice and plainer-type steady to
.50 higher. Monday’s steer market
opened on a positive note and improved
with Tuesday’s attractive offering. Hol
stein steers and slaughter heifers not
well tested. Slaughter cow prices were
fully steady. Slaughter bulls traded 1.00
higher. Supply included 46 percent
slaughter steers and 36 percent cows.
