For the last several years she has worked on the steering commit tee for Lancaster County Fest, conducted Labor Day Sunday. The Fest is a joint effort of sev eral churches that host a com munity fest at a local park. But, I keep hearing stories of snow in Maine and Vermont. Our daughter and her family will be moving to Maine next month. When they were there to buy a house, there was several feet of snow on the ground. And, a nephew in Vermont was snowed in for several days as he lives off the beaten path. I thought his worry might be food, but his mother said that it was heat and whether the pile of wood would last. He dug a path for his dog to get outdoors. One kind is quite similar to the Sugar Snap pea, while the other is quite early and can be harvested the end of May. I’ve bought some more used wool material and finally fin ished another braided rug. This one has many colors and was not carefully planned. Let’s hope someone will find it attractive.
