offerings. Local holstein steers traded
1.00-1.50 lower. Slaughter heifers not
well tested. Feedlots in the Plains and
Midwest reported live cattle 2.00-2.50
lower mostly at 76.50-77.00, and 2.00-
4.00 lower dressed at 125.00-127.00. Live
cattle prices continue to trend lower due
to weaker CME futures all week. Live
cattle futures settled Thursday at 75.32
down .97 from Wednesday. Slaughter
cows sold 1.00-3.00 higher in active trad
ing. Slaughter bull prices were 2.00
higher for the week. Supply included 37
percent steers, 7 percent heifers, 42 per
cent cows, 4 percent bulls, with the bal
ance feeders. '

CALVES; Compared to last week,
vealers traded steady to 10.00 lower late
in the week. Large slaughter calves were
not well tested. Holstein bulls returning
to feed were moderately active, and
