ence series will continue with In
foAg 2001 scheduled for Aug. 7,
8 and 9. Organized by the Potash
and Phosphate Institute (PPI),
Potash and Phosphate Institute
of Canada (PPIC), and the
Foundation for Agronomic Re
search (FAR), InfoAg 2001 will
take place at the Adam’s Mark
Hotel at the Indianapolis Airport
in central Indiana.

State’s College of Agricultural
Sciences has implemented a new
biosecurity policy for all farm
units housing livestock. Effective
immediately, visits to university
dairy, beef, swine, sheep, deer
and equine facilities will be by
appointment only.
All entrances to the restricted
facilities will be posted. Appoint
ments to visit the facilities may
be requested by contacting the
College of Agricultural Sciences
at (814) 865-1362 or by sending
an e-mail to coas-visits@lists.p
su.edu.
Managers of the restricted
farm units will inter-
view potential visitors
to determine the pur
pose of the visit. They
also will request in
formation to de
termine whether any
of the visitors may
have been in direct or
indirect contact with

Future Agriculture and Food

2001 is $350 per person if re
ceived by July IS, but it increases
to $450 thereafter.
