CATTLE: Compared to last Thurs
day, slaughter steers sold 1.00 lower.
Buyer demand was moderate with
mainly average Choice and plainer type
cattle on offer. Holstein steers were
mostly steady. Slaughter heifers have no
comparison with last Thursday. Slaugh
ter cows were active and prices were 1.00
higher Slaughter bulls 1.00 higher in a
light test. Next week, April 23, will be
the next special feeder sale and 200-300
head are expected. Supply included 45
percent slaughter steers and 39 percent
cows.
