Stoneboro, Mercer County, who
have the top indexing and high
est gaining bull this year at Penn
State’s bull test, setting a record
for gain among the 2,000 bulls
tested in the program since its in
ception.
The couple began with 17 ani
mals in 1990 and have increased
to 300 animals in 600 acres,
aided by Dave and Annette
Downs, herdsmen.
