Weekly Meat Production under Federal Inspection
WASHINGTON, D.C., Mar. 23 - (USDA-NASS) - Total red meat produc
tion under federal inspection for the week ending Sat, Mar 24, was estimated
at 851.4 million lb according to the USDA's Marketing Service. This was 01 %
higher than a week ago and I 9% lower than a year ago. Cumulative meat pro
duction for the year to date was 4.5% lower compared to the previous year
