Roto-Mix Introduces
Vertical Feed Mixer
DODGE CITY, Kan.
Roto-Mix has introduced the
“new” model 1105 A Vertical
Feed Mixer with dual mixing
screw design.
This “twin-mix” vertical feed
mixer has been designed for the
customer who wants large feed
mixing capacity while easily
handling different ration ingred
ients. By adding optional exten
sions, the mixing capacity can
easily increase to 1,205 or even
1,305 cubic feet.
The Roto-Mix 1105 A “twin
mix” vertical feed mixer has the
exclusive “auto-mix” driveline.
This drive provides an advan
tage of reduced horsepower re
quirements, easy full-load
startups, smoother bale process
ing, more even discharge, and
eliminates PTO overload fail
ures.
The heavy-duty automatic
truck transmission is the heart
of the auto-mix drive system, al
lowing this high capacity mixer
to be powered by a medium duty
tractor. Speed and torque are
automatically adjusted by the
drive to balance the need for
power required to process round
bales or other types of hay to the

MOUNT JOY (Lancaster Co.)
As part of its extensive agro
nomic research and nutritional
screenings, Pioneer Hi-Bred In
ternational, Inc. has introduced
scvei il new corn silage hybrids
for the eastern U.S.
Three new hybrids, in particu

strength of the hybrids available
for the 2001 growing season.
“When crop and livestock
producers select seed for corn
silage, a general rule of thumb is
to remember that the best hy
brids for grain production are
generally the best hybrids for
corn silage,” said Carl Bannon,
technology information mana

“However, at Pioneer, only hy
brids that provide both agro
nomic and nutritional benefits
are advanced and recommended
for silage production.”

The Loading Zone Cargo
Gate fully conforms to the
height and width of the truck
bed, unlike cargo bars, which do
not accommodate variable
height/weight items or conform
to wheel wells. A unique lock

truck owner more versatility in
placing the gate and dividing
the truck bed.
The Cargo Gate is available in
four sues (full-si/e, tundra, mid
size and compact).
