Hornet WDG is a 78.5 per
cent active ingredient formu
lation that replaces Hornet
86DF. Common use rates are
now 3,4, and 5-ounce per
acre, instead of 2.4, 3.2, and
4-ounce per acre.
Gramoxone Max replaces
Gramoxone Extra, and the
new formulation contains
three pounds paraquat per
gallon. Product use rates are
thus reduced slightly com
pared to the previous 2.5 per
gallon formulation.
Roundup Ultra Max re
places Roundup Ultra. The
amount of glyphcsate acid
equivalent per gallon in-
omco

FISB Flexwings available in sizes from 16’6” to 24’0”.

others. Most are labeled for
preplant burndown in any
crop and postemergence use
in Roundup Ready soybeans,
but not all are labeled for pos
temergence use in Roundup
Ready corn.
In OSU research, few dif
ferences in weed control have
been observed when compar
ing the various glyphosate
products. However, differ
ences among formulations
may result in differences in
rainfastness, surfactant rec
ommendations, or control
under adverse conditions.
For example, the rainfast in
terval indicated on the
Roundup Ultra Max label is
one hour, while other glypho
sate product labels specify
