In Philadelphia, prices were un
changed to 2 cents lower on medium. In
New England, prices were 3 cents lower
on larger sizes. In Boston, prices were
unchanged to 3 cents lower on large and
extra large. Elsewhere prices were un
changed. The market tone was barely
steady to weak on brown eggs. On white
eggs the market tone was steady on large
sizes and barely steady to weak on bal
ance. Supplies were slightly more avail
able and reported adequate to ample.
Demand was light to moderate. Break
ing stock demand was fair for sufficient
offerings. Light type fowl were usually
adequate for the slow and unagressive
demand.

In New York and Philadelphia, prices

on the balance. In Boston, prices were
lower the larger sizes and unchanged the
remainder. In the South, prices were
lower on mediums but higher on the
heavier eggs. In most other areas, prices
were unchanged. The market tone was

where features provided additional
movement. Supplies were usually suffi
cient in the East and adequate to in
stances tight in other locations. In the
Central States, bteaking stock offerings
were light to non-available for the
mostly good demand. The Eastern
region breaking stock supplies were suf
ficient and demand was fair. Light type
hens were usually adequate for current
requirements.
Prices were 2 cents lower on medium,
balance unchanged. The market tone
was steady on larger sizes and barely
steady on medium. Demand was light to
moderate with limited feature activity
noted. Supplies were generally adequate
to available for needs.
