Trucklot buying interest remained
light and unaggressive as dealers kept
floorstocks as closely balanced as possi
ble. Offerings of boneless skinless breasts
were readily available, however, bone-in
breasts were generally balanced. Drums
and thighs were at least sufficient, and
wings were adequate. Distributive chan
nels saw better movement today where
brisk holiday movement through restau
rant lines was a factor. The market tone
remained fully steady on bone-in breasts,
no better than steady on boneless skin
less breasts, about steady on the balance.
