day, slaughter steers traded .50 higher.
The steer market opened Monday on a
slow start but closed very active on Tues
day. Overall quality of the cattle was at
tractive. Slaughter heifers and holstein
steers not fully tested. Slaughter cows
traded steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter
bulls sold steady. Supply included 30
percent slaughter steers and 50 percent
cows.

higher. Slaughter bulls sold 2.00 higher.
Supply included 34 percent slaughter
steers and 42 percent cows.

noted late in the week. Early in week the

late in the week as midwest feedlots

2.00 lower at 78.00 live and 2.00-3.00
lower at 124.00-125.00 dressed. Slaugh
ter heifers closed steady on a thin test.
