Majority prices were unchanged when
compared to a week earlier. Generally as
the holiday approaches the undertone
was no better than steady on yolks,
mixed but improved on whites and un
settled on whole. Trading was light with
buyers usually on the side line and sellers
cautious as breaking stocks prices
trended higher. Supplies were about ade
quate. Liquid and frozen eggs (ingred
ients included) processed under federal
inspection in the Eastern region for the
week ending December 09 , 2000 were
44% less than last week and 59% less
than a year ago.
