ESTATE SALE
A farmhouse that
hadn’t been on the
market for 125 years was
sold Thursday as part of
a 38-acre farm for the
William G. Weaver
estate. It was bought by
ZMW Associates, New
Holland, for $605,000.
According to auc
tioneer Randal Kline, the
Weaver family owned
the farm, at 380 Linden
Road, East Earl, for well
over a century. William
G. Weaver was born
there, Kline said, and he
recently died at the age
of 97. The sale of the
farm attracted a crowd of
between 450 and 500
people, he said.
One hundred ninety
five of them registered to
bid.
