two day sale was fairly attractive. Hol
stein steers sold mostly steady. Slaughter
cows traded steady to firm. Slaughter
bull prices sold 1.00 higher on a light
test. Supply included 24 percent slaugh
ter steers and 47 percent slaughter cows.

CATTLE: Compared to Tuesday,
slaughter steers sold .50 higher, with in
stances 1.00 higher. The sale started
active on the top quality cattle and
ended on a strong note. A fairly light
supply of slaughter heifers traded
steady. Holstein steers were not well
tested. Slaughter cow prices sold steady,
with 85-90 percent lean cows trading
1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls traded
mostly steady on a light test. Supply in
cluded 26 percent slaughter steers and
42 percent slaughter cows.
