    Meal Time In Child
TOWANDA (Bradford Co.)
“Eating Times The Ups and
Downs” is the title of the work
shop being presented by Penn
State Cooperative Extension.
Child care providers and inter
ested parents can participate in
the workshop from 7-9 p.m. on
Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Brad
ford County Extension Office,
701 South Fourth Street, Towan
da.
The workshop will provide
child care providers and parents
with help in making meal times
happy and enjoyable times, espe
cially for young children.
Tips on keeping food safe and
ideas for lunches will be sug
gested.
Workshop participants will
also have the opportunity to visit,
by way of satellite television, sev
eral child care facilities and see
the ideas for handling meal time
in “living color.” Providers will
hear other providers talk about
how they handle meal time and
problems that arise.
The “Eating Times The Ups
and Downs” workshop is part of
a statewide Better Kid Care child
