“I have been helping to milk,
and I helped to clean the grates
too. Little Emily follows me
around and warns me to look
out when the cow gets ready to

“Sure, I experienced cultural
shock on the farm,” Parker said.
“My job is dealing with people
every day in all kinds of differ
ent issues. Out here, you are

sit behind desks and go to the
gym to get exercise. Out here
you are always on the go work
ing.
“But I also see a lot in
common between the farm and
city,” Parker said. “One is the
issue of the working mother.
