The market tone was fully steady to firm on yolks, steady on whole, and unsettled to about steady on whites. Demand was slow to moderate with best interest centered on irregular offerings of yolks. Other supplies were adequate for current needs. Liquid and frozen eggs (ingredients included) processed under federal inspection in the Eastern region for the week ending October 21, 2000 were 5 % more than last week, but 5 % percent less than a year ago.
