The futures market at the CME
had some dire predictions for
Class 111 prices today. The Class
111 futures as of October 27
reported a settlement price of
$lO 04 per cwt for October 2000,
$8 87 per cwt for November
2000, and $9 33 per cwt for
December 2000 Thereafter the
market is expecting the Class 111
price to average $9 78 per cwt for
the first quarter of 2001, and
$lO 00 per cwt for the second
quarter of 2001.
