HERSHEY {Dauphin Co.) The 50th Annual Meeting Of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau (PFB) will take place Nov. 13-15 here at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. Several hundred farmers, in cluding 172 voting delegates, will gather for the three-day event which will culminate in the election of leaders and the setting of policy positions for the coming year on agricultural issues. This year’s annual meet ing will feature special programs and activities on Tuesday, Nov. 14 in celebration of the farm or ganization’s 50th anniversary. It is part of the nation’s largest gen eral farm organization, the 4.9- million member American Farm Bureau Federation. Voting delegate sessions will be held each day of the annual meeting to deliberate on policy proposals developed from the organization’s grass-roots level. Delegates will also be electing the organization’s president and eight board members for two year terms. A motivational conference entitled “Celebrating the Dash” will take place Wednesday, Nov. 15. PFB’s Young Farmer and Rancher Discussion Meet com petition will be Tuesday of the annual meeting. State House Dem ocratic Whip Michael Veon (D -14th Dist.) will address a breakfast meeting of FARMER, PFB’s political action commit tee, Wednesday. PFB will present several awards during the annual meet ing. The winner of the young farmer and rancher achieve mcnt awards will bp announced at Tuesday’s luncheon.
