The market tone was fully steady to firm. Demand improved in some areas and was mostly moderate. Supplies of the larger sizes were ade quate and the lighter weight eggs were barely adequate. Breaking stock supplies were usually sufficient for the moderate demand. Light type hens were adequate for slaughter requirements.
