CATTLE: Compared to Thursday,
slaughter steers, Holstein steers, and
slaughter heifers sold steady. Trading
was more active on Tuesday and re
ceiptswere higher, but most of the in
crease was due to the improved quality
of theoffering. Slaughter cows continue
to trade steady. Slaughter bulls not well
tested. Supply included 30 percent
slaughter steers and 36 percent slaughter
cows.
