The 2000 Club Calf Sale was conducted during the recent Keystone International Live stock Expo (KILE) here at the Farm Show Complex. The Club Calf Sale is an op portunity for any interested FFA or 4-H member to purchase a high quality animal for a project animal, or for someone to purchase animals for their feedlot operation. The sale averaged $728 with over 50 beef cattle sold. The high-selling animal was from Wingert Farms of St. Thomas with their medium weight steer. The grand champion club calf from Wenger Farms of Myers town received $l,OOO for their American British White Pork named Apache, who was pur chased by Cassandra Hake of Etters for a 4-H project. For the first time in the his tory of the Club Calf Show, a White Park Calf was selected as grand champion of the Club Calf Show. In the pen classes, grand champion pen and the re serve grand champion pen went to Bill Sherwood of Maxwelton, WV. The results of the other pen champions follow.
