N.Y. Holstein Exhibitor Takes
WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass.
Elmvue Farm, Millertown,
N.Y., went home from the 2000
Big E with several of the top
honors at the Northeast Fall Na
tional Holstein Show.
They first won the grand
champion trophy with their
5-year-old cow, Ladyholm Lari
ssa, then followed that with the
reserve champion award on their
aged cow, Sandy Crest Annalee.
Finally, they captured the pre
mier exhibitor banner.
The junior champion trophy
was awarded to Rick and Shan
non Allyn and Oscar Dupasquier
on the first-place winter yearling
heifer, Eiklyn CC Chance. The
Ailyns shared the reserve junior
champion trophy with Penn Octo
Holsteins on their co-owned
summer yearling heifer.
Premier breeder in the open
show was awarded to Vermont
Pond View of Danville, Vt.
Champion bred and owned hon
ors went to Elmvue Farm on
Elmvue Legal Evanna.
In the junior show, Natalie
Keene, Auburn, Maine, walked
away with the grand champion
trophy with her homebred junior
3-year-old, Dirigo Balance Shari.
Reserve champion of the junior
show was awarded to Luke Pull
