Tiffany’s ‘Baldy’ Matures

pion at the West Lampeter Com
munity Fair Wednesday had no
wool on its head.
That’s why champion exhibi
tor Tiffany Dean decided to
name the Suffolk/Hampshire
wether “Baldy.”
“It was bom bald,” said Tiffa
ny, fresh off a lamb champion
ship last week at Solanco. “It
was a weird lamb, with bugeyes.”
The 124-pound homebred
lamb proved excellent in the

Tiffany, 14, is the daughter of
Gary and Joan Dean, Strasburg.
She’s in the eighth grade at Mar
tin Meylin Middle School.

“It’s been a while,” he said. “But
she really works hard.”
Tiffany swept the showman
ship and fitting contests Wednes
day morning. She plans to show
at the upcoming Keystone Inter
national Livestock Expo and
Farm Show.
