In Philadelphia, prices were un
changed to 2 cents higher on the larger
sizes and unchanged for mediums. In
Boston, prices were unchanged to 2 cents
higher for extra large, unchanged to 1
cent higher for large, and unchanged for
mediums In New England, prices were
2 cents higher for extra large and large
and unchanged on the balance of sizes.
The market tone was fully steady for the
heavier weight eggs and mostly steady
for the smaller sizes Demand into all
outlets ranged light to mdoerate, best
wehre features were in progress. Sup
plies were in close balance to adequate.
Breaking stock supplies were adequate
for the fan demand. Light type fowl
were adequate for trading needs.

Trucklot buying activity was slow as
dealer interest remained very selective
and cautious. Supplies bone-in and
boneless-skinless breasts were ample and
discounted sharply, and dark meat items
were at least adequate to available. In
contrast, seasonal interest continued to
center on the limited supply of wings.
Movement into retail and distributive
channels remained fair at best. The
market tone was fully steady to in
stances firm on wings, no better than
steady to barely steady on dark meat
items, and weak on bone-in and
boneless-skinless breasts
