Calves in medium to fleshy condition. Weather continues hot and dry with 46 plus days of no rain. Some buyers and producers alike are concerned they will have to market cattle early which could possibly pro duce another month of relatively large placements. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and bulls 1.00 lower. Bulk supply of packer cows in thin to very thin condi tion. This seasons hot and dry weather has dropped cow condition earlier than normal. Demand moderate for all classes. Half the supply bred cows of mostly low quality. Total of 895 cows and bulls sold with 48 percent to pack ers.
